Cast your vote for Female Condoms today!
The nominees for the Women Deliver 'Top 50 Inspring Ideas & Solutions that deliver for Women' have been announced last week. The Universal Access to Female Condoms (UAFC) Joint Programme is very honoured to be one of the nominees (Category 'Advocacy and Awareness Campaigns') and is also glad to see that PATH's Women's Condom has been nominated as well (Category 'Technologies and Innovations').
The female condom is a very effective, female-initiated and controlled dual prevention option, preventing both unintended pregnancies and STI infections, including HIV. It is available today and both UAFC and PATH are working very hard to increase both access to and affordability of this tool for the millions of women whose need for family planning and prevention methods is still unmet.
Please, help further this cause - and in this way contribute to the achievement of Millennium Development Goals 3, 5 (5b) and 6 - by casting your vote today!
